Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inquired about the injured in the bus accident at Simdi, Pauri at Kotdwar Base Hospital. Chief Minister told the family that all arrangements have been made by the government for the treatment of the injured. He also took complete information about the injured from the doctors.
Chief Minister has expressed gratitude to the villagers who reached the accident as the first responders. He said that first of all villagers reached nearby and helped in evacuating the injured.
CM Dhami directed DM Pauri to provide incentive funds to encourage them by making a list of the villagers who have helped in evacuating the injured and the dead in the hour of calamity. Former Chief Minister and MP Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank was also present on the occasion.
Earlier, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and former Chief Minister and MP Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank reached the Pauri bus accident site and inquired about the relief and rescue operations and instructed the police team including NDRF, SDRF to rescue swiftly.

While meeting the affected families, Chief Minister directed the local administration to provide speedy treatment to the injured and said that all possible help would be provided to the affected by the State Government. CM Dhami was taking full details of the incident from officials since late Tuesday evening.
During this, MLA Lansdowne Mr. Dilip Rawat, Garhwal Commissioner Mr. Sushil Kumar, DIG Karan Singh Naganyal, District Magistrate Mr. Vijay Kumar Jogdande, SSP Mr. Yashwant Singh Chouhan were present.
As soon as the information about the bus accident in Pauri district was received, CM Dhami reached the disaster control room at the Secretariat and inquired about the accident in detail from the officials. He instructed the officials of the disaster control room to be in constant touch with the district officials.
Chief Minister Dhami spoke to DM Pauri over phone and instructed him to carry out relief and rescue work with utmost vigilance. He also spoke to MLA Lansdowne over the phone. The Chief Minister has postponed all the programs proposed before yesterday.
Let us inform that, on October 4, CM Dhami has announced financial assistance to the affected in the incidents of Uttarkashi and Pauri. In both the incidents, financial assistance of ₹ 2-2 lakh will be given to the kin of the dead, ₹ 1-1 lakh to the seriously injured and ₹ 50-50 thousand to the general injured.
