Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami took an aerial survey of the ongoing rescue and relief operations for the trainees of Nehru Institute of Mountaineering (NIM) Uttarkashi, who were hit by an avalanche in Draupadi’s Danda-2 mountain peak.
Earlier, while taking a meeting of officials at ITBP Guest House Matli, the Chief Minister inquired about the incident site.
During this, CM Dhami directed the officials to expedite the relief work. Along with this, instructions were given to provide better treatment to the injured.
During this, former Chief Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, regional MLA Suresh Chauhan, DM Abhishek Ruhela, SP Aparna Yaduvanshi, and other senior officers were present.
Let us inform that, on October 4, CM Dhami has announced financial assistance to the affected in the incidents of Uttarkashi and Pauri Bus Accident. In both the incidents, financial assistance of ₹ 2-2 lakh will be given to the kin of the dead, ₹ 1-1 lakh to the seriously injured and ₹ 50-50 thousand to the general injured.
