Ranipokhari: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in program organized in Dehradun today. On this occasion, CM Dhami inaugurated the construction work of 280 meters long Ranipokhari Setu on Bhaniyawala-Rishikesh motor road and 180 meters long bridge on Sheetla river in Lumbarpur Langha motor road under Vidhansabha Vikasnagar.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Dhami announced the construction work of Sangaon bridge to Kandoli Khark motor road, repair work of Lachhiwala range office to Dudhli (Forest Department Road) under Doiwala Vidhan Sabha.
Announcement was made for construction of forest department motor road from Shri Kalu Siddha Mandir to Dhanyadi, construction of three rooms and toilets for Government Girls High School in Harrawala.
Congratulating the residents of area on inauguration of Ranipokhari Setu, Chief Minister said that this bridge connecting Garhwal with the capital and Rishikesh is very important, its reconstruction will facilitate the local people as well as tourists visiting Uttarakhand.
CM Dhami expressed his gratitude to all the officials of public works, central agencies and toiling workers who were involved in the construction of both the bridges built at Lumbarpur Langha Motor Road and Ranipokhari.
He said that it is our priority to strengthen connectivity in Uttarakhand. Our government is committed to the development of roads. Today the level at which the road construction work is being done in the state is unprecedented. Like the Chardham road project, we have started working on the Manaskhand corridor as the flagship project of the state.
The CM said that, we are not only constructing new routes in the state but are also working to secure the movement on them. Whatever work our government lays the foundation stone, it will also inaugurate it. We will convert people’s hope into success.
The Chief Minister said that, we have made it clear to all the departments and officers that any action plan should be done with full quality in the stipulated time so that time and resources can be saved.
On this occasion, MP and former Chief Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, Cabinet Minister Premchand Agarwal, MLA Munna Singh Chouhan, MLA Brij Bhushan Gairola etc. were present.
