He said that Uniform Civil Code was the need of our state. We had made a promise to the public about this before the elections and soon after coming into the government, formed the committee. Now we have made a strict law on conversion in the state. It provided for imprisonment of up to 10 years. The Chief Minister said that every new work starts from Uttarakhand and what starts here goes to the whole country. The law on conversion was the need of the hour. Uniform Civil Code is not against anyone. After us all the states are coming forward on this.

Ankita said on the scandal, not even one percent laxity
The Chief Minister said that the Ankita Bhandari murder case was a heinous and heinous act. We took immediate action. All the accused were immediately arrested. A SIT was formed under the leadership of a woman police officer. In this matter, even one percent is not going to be lax and will give the harshest punishment to the culprits.

Sent 55 people to jail in recruitment scam
The CM said that recruitment scams were going on in the state since 2014 and 2015. There was always talk of investigation but there was no investigation. We got a preliminary inquiry done in this. Till today 55 people have gone to jail and the action will continue till the last person goes to jail. We want to draw such a line of action that no one could even think of such a thing in future.

Will rapidly develop facilities in Chardham
The Chief Minister said that more than 46 lakh devotees visited the Char Dham Yatra. We are rapidly developing facilities in Chardham. There was a lot of damage in Kedarnath in the disaster of 2013. But now everything has changed due to the work going on under the able guidance of the Prime Minister. Work on the master plan is also going on in Badrinath. A target has been set to complete both the works by December 2023.

Will fulfill the dreams of General Bipin Rawat
The Chief Minister said that General Bipin Rawat was like a guardian to me. He had many dreams regarding Uttarakhand, which we are fulfilling. The foundation stone of the ropeway for Kedarnath and Hemkund has been laid by the Prime Minister. In the coming days, both these journeys will become easier for the devotees.
