Dehradun: In view of the ever increasing cases of global epidemic corona virus infection, the state government has imposed a total lockdown of two days a week in four districts of Uttarakhand.
But despite the lockdown on Saturday, the roads in Dehradun were jammed with vehicles.
Lockdowns are declared on Saturday and Sunday until further orders in Dehradun, Haridwar, Udham Singh Nagar and Nainital district. There is movement under certain conditions in these districts.
The boundaries of these four districts are also sealed in two days. The lockdown has been decided by the government for the same districts where cases of infection are coming up fast.
The government has amended the SOP issued on July 2 to declare lockdown in four districts.
Two more conditions have been added to the July 2 order. The SOP states that this complete detention will continue until further orders.
Those coming from other states will have to register on the smart city website and this registration will be sufficient.
