Honiara: On Saturday, a quake of Earthquake was felt at Kirakira in the Solomon Islands, a southern Pacific Ocean country.
According to the US Geological Survey, the intensity of the earthquake that occurred at 01.37 am was measured at 5.9 on the Richter scale.
The epicenter of the quake was 10.3869 degrees south latitude and 161.4054 degrees east longitude and 42.42 kilometers from the ground surface.
