Amroha: Double Dalit murder case in Amroha (Uttar Pradesh) has come to light in Gajraula police station area of the district. A Dalit mother and daughter were killed by beheading while sleeping at home late on Saturday night. This incident has created panic in entire area.
DIG Shalabh Mathur (DIG Moradabad Shalabh Kumar) took stock of the incident and on complaint of the people of maternal side of deceased, three including father-in-law have been taken into custody. After murder of a Dalit mother and daughter, agitated family members blocked Haridwar, Badaun State Highway.
Relatives say that in their absence, both bodies have been sent for post-mortem. Family has accused police of misleading them. At the same time, DIG Moradabad Shalabh Kumar pacified people and got jam opened by assuring strict action against culprits in this case.
Superintendent of Police Aditya Langhe also reached the spot and took information. He sent both bodies for post-mortem. Family members of deceased created a ruckus accusing in-laws of murder. However, SP has pacified them after explaining them.

Dalit Mother and daughter were murder by crushing their heads with bricks while sleeping in the house in village Kakather of Gajraula police station area, Amroha. Police officers who reached the spot took stock of incident. Please tell that Mithlesh (38), a resident of village Kakather, lived with his daughter Yashi (10).
Eldest son of deceased lived in his maternal grandmother in village Bahapur under Hasanpur police station area. On Saturday night, mother daughter was sleeping on cot in courtyard of her house. According to the villagers, someone killed both Dalit mother and daughter with a sharp weapon (Amroha mother or daughter killed by beheading).
Dead body of mother and daughter was found lying in a bloody condition together on cot in courtyard of house. There were injury marks on the head.
On the information of incident, police reached the spot and detained a drunken youth resident of Kakather village. He is under interrogation. Several police officers including Superintendent of Police were present at spot along with force of several police stations.
