Srinagar: An encounter broke out between security forces and terrorists at Kilbal in Shopian district in south Kashmir on Saturday.
On the basis of intelligence inputs about the presence of terrorists, the army and police launched a cordon and search operation in Kilbal.
When the security forces approached the suspected spot in the residential area, the terrorists hiding there started firing.
In retaliation, the security forces also opened fire and after this an encounter started between the two sides.
He said that one or two terrorists may be hiding in the area. Security forces have sealed all entry and exit points in the area.
Terrorists are once again planning a big attack in Jammu and Kashmir. Intelligence agencies have issued an alert regarding this.
It has been informed by the IB that seven terrorists are trying to infiltrate across the border.
According to the agency, these terrorists can enter the Indian border through Pakistan Occupied Kashmir and carry out the attack.
According to intelligence agencies, five al-Badr terrorists are planning to explode with an IED.
