Mumbai: A massive fire broke out in a multi-storey building in Tardeo on Saturday morning, leaving seven people injured. Please inform that 24 fire tenders have reached the spot to control the fire. Apart from this, 5 ambulances are also on the spot.
The fire broke out at 7:30 am in a 20-storey building named Kamala Society located near Bhatia Hospital in Taddev area in Mumbai. According to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation, seven people died in this accident while two people were badly injured, who have been admitted to the hospital.
Let us tell you that even before this, there was a case of fire in a multi-storey building in Mumbai. In October last year, a fire broke out in a multi-storey building on Mumbai’s Curry Road in which a security guard was killed after falling.
On this matter, Mumbai Mayor Kishori Pednekar said that 6 elderly people were in need of oxygen support system and they have been shifted to the hospital. The fire has been brought under control but there is a lot of smoke. All the people have been saved.

President Ram Nath Kovind also tweeted on the incident, writing, “Saddened to learn about the incident of fire in a building in Mumbai. My deepest condolences to the families of those who lost their loved ones in this unfortunate accident. I feel sorry for the injured. I wish him a speedy recovery.”
