J&K Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha today said that Jammu has today become a hub of premier educational institutions like IIT and IIM. He was addressing the inaugural session of Youth 20 Consultation on Peace Building at University of Jammu.
Mr. Sinha said that today India, under the guidance of PM Narendra Modi, is truly playing its role of Vishwa Guru and the whole world is seeing a new hope in India.
He said that today’s youth is coming up with innovative solutions to big challenges. Mr. Sinha said Youth is playing an important role in new sectors today whether it is Global North or Global South.
Talking about J&K, the Lt. Governor said that almost 45,000 people lost their lives due to terrorism. But today the whole world is seeing that after August 2019, a new Jammu and Kashmir is taking shape. He said every second day a new startup is being registered in J&K.
He said that today when the whole world is reeling under the challenges of climate change, it is looking forward to India for getting innovative solutions.
