Rudraprayag: Uttarakhand’s famous folk singer Hema Negi Karasi has received death threats through video. Folk singer has alleged that she has also been subjected to indecency in video.
In this regard, folk singer Hema Negi Karasi has lodged complaint at Nehru Colony police station. Based on complaint of victim, police registered case against accused and started investigation into matter.
Hema Negi told police in application that she has been threatened on Facebook. Questions have been raised about her Jagar style song. Accused has alleged that Hema Negi has used traditional words.
To this Hema Negi replied that whatever words she has taken, if she has any objection, then prove to her that she has done something wrong.
Hema Negi told that she had given complaint in this regard at Jogiwala Chowki five days ago. But no action was taken. After that she has lodged complaint at police station Nehru Colony.
Hema Negi told that accused has threatened her that he will kill her. After the threat, her life is in danger. In this case, police say that whole matter has come to notice.
On the complaint of Hema Negi, police have registered case against the accused and matter is being investigated in depth.
