Mumbai: Aryan Khan, son of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who was arrested by the NCB on October 3 in the cruise drugs case, has escalated.
Special NDPS Court on Wednesday rejected the bail plea of drugs case accused Aryan Khan, son of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan.
Apart from this, the court has also rejected the bail applications of the other two accused Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha in the case.
Khan’s counsel, however, said the detailed verdict of Special Judge VV Patil is still awaited.
They said they plan to appeal to the Bombay High Court for Aryan’s bail by Wednesday or Thursday.
On October 14, the court had reserved the verdict after hearing the arguments of the lawyers.
During the last hearing, the NCB had told the court that Aryan Khan is a drug addict and has been in contact with several drug peddlers.
A total of 20 people, including two Nigerian nationals, have been arrested so far in connection with the seizure of drugs after a party was raided on the Cordelia cruise ship off the Mumbai coast.
