Lucknow: A lawyer was attacked by a hand made bomb in Lucknow court, UP. He survived narrowly in this attack. There was a stir in the court after incident. Some other lawyers have also been injured in blast, who have been sent to nearest hospital for immediate treatment. 2 live bombs have also been found in the court.
At around 11 am on Thursday morning, an member of Bar Association, Advocate Sanjeev Lodhi, was attacked by bomb inside Lucknow court. Police reported to News Readers correspondent that, Sanjeev narrowly escaped the attack. Police are calling it a case of confrontation between two groups. A sudden explosion caused panic in the court premises. Top police officers are rushed to the spot and investigation is being done.
After this incident, the police are searching for the attackers through CCTV footage. Central Bar Association President Adesh Singh said, “Sanjeev Lodhi is the joint secretary of Lucknow Bar Association. Three bombs have been thrown in front of his chamber. One of the three bombs exploded and two bombs were found alive. The attackers have also flown.”
He said, “It has been heard that he was having a dispute with Jitendra Yadav aka Jitu, secretary of Lucknow Bar Association. It is being claimed that this attack has been carried out by Jeetu and his own supporters.”
Let us know that recently, metal detector machines and luggage scanning machines have been installed at all the main gates in view of the security of the court premises. Along with this, the number of police forces in the premise has also been increased. Despite this, a big omission from the security personnel has also affected image of UP Police.
