Raipur: There has been news of an explosion in the train at Raipur railway station, the capital of Chhattisgarh. According to the information, 6 CRPF personnel have been injured in this blast.
The condition of a CRPF constable is critical, who has been immediately admitted to the hospital. At the same time, other injured CRPF jawans were rescued by the police administration.
Security has been beefed up at the railway station after the incident, though no civilian or other person was harmed there.
How did the explosion happen?
It is being told that the blast took place at 6 am, in which the personnel of 211th Battalion of CRPF were going to Jammu by special train when the grenade exploded as soon as it was kept in the train’s bogie. According to the information, the blast took place due to detonator explosion.
Raipur Railway PRO Shiv Prasad has confirmed the blast. According to him, the dummy cartridge was kept in the box. The luggage exploded as soon as it was kept in the bogie of the train.
CRPF battalion personnel were in large numbers in the train. Meanwhile, the detonator kept near the bathroom exploded.
According to preliminary information, CRPF personnel Chavan Vikas Laxman, Ramesh Lal, Ravindra Kar, Sushil and Dinesh Kumar Paikra were injured in the blast in the train.
One of these jawans, Vikas, has suffered serious injuries, who has been admitted to Sree Narayana Hospital Devendra Nagar for treatment.
It is being told that the rest of the injured were given first aid, after which their condition is fine.
