To promote startups, Dhami government will create a venture fund of 200 crores. With this, young entrepreneurs will be able to get funds at the government level to start business on innovative ideas. Till now only venture investors used to provide financial assistance to startups.
Dhami government has approved the startup revised policy. In this policy, the government has set a target of creating one thousand startups within the next five years. Apart from this, incentives and financial assistance given to startups have been increased.
The prize money given to the winning innovation idea in the Grand Challenge award has been increased from Rs 50,000 to Rs 2 lakh. Apart from this, if a startup company is registered in the purchase preference policy, then government departments can purchase up to 10 lakhs directly from the startup. Recognized startups will be given free incubation facility for one year.

Government will give 10 thousand for track mark
An assistance of Rs 10,000 per trademark will be given by the government to get the track mark for the product of the startup company. Apart from this, financial assistance from 1 to 5 lakh will be given for patenting two products. Arrangements were made in the policy to provide assistance of Rs 10,000 for designing the products.
One time seed funding of 10 lakh to recognized startup
In the policy, the government has made provision for one-time seed funding of up to 10 lakhs for recognized startups. Innovation startups of women, scheduled castes, tribes, disabled, rural areas will get an amount of 12.5 lakhs.
Promotion of innovation entrepreneurship in schools and colleges
In the new policy of the government, innovative entrepreneurship will be promoted at the district level along with schools and colleges. With this, the government will encourage new innovative ideas.
