Dehradun: Increasing cases of suicide among teenagers is serious matter of concern. Now see in Dehradun itself, here an high school student committed suicide by hanging herself on previous day. It is being told that the girl was upset over not getting her favorite food in their house.
When she did not get the food of her choice on reaching home, she went straight to her room without saying anything to anyone. where she hanged himself.
Police Station Raipur Manmohan Negi said that on Thursday night, information was received from Coronation Hospital that a teenager living in Danda Lakhond had committed suicide. On receiving the information, team of police was sent to hospital and another team to girl’s home.
When family members were questioned, they told that teenager had gone to school during the day. When she reached home in afternoon, she got angry for not getting her favorite food. Angry girl went to her room. During this, she put a noose of sardine in iron pipe in the room and hanged on it.
On getting information, relatives brought her down from the noose. Girl was breathing at that time. Family members were taking her to the hospital by ambulance, but she died on way.
Whole family is deeply shocked by this sudden incident. One step taken by teenager in hurry took away the happiness of whole family. Family is in bad condition. Police are involved in investigation of the matter.
