Risk of infection increases again in southern China, hundreds of flights cancelled

Beijing: China may be publicly hiding its true figures, but the reality is that coronavirus infection spread from Wuhan is not taking its rest to stop.

While the whole world is fighting this pandemic unitedly, the infection has increased once again in southern China, which is also directly affecting the flights.

According to the South China Morning Post, Chinese administration has cancelled hundreds of flights in view of the increasing risk of infection in the south. Not only this, strict corona restrictions have also been imposed here.

Let us tell you that the lockdown is also going on in the city of South China as there has been an increase in corona cases in Guangdong province. A total of six new cases have been reported in Guangdong on Saturday.

Two cases are included in Shenzhen and one each in Foshan and Dongguan. The other cases were from the provincial capital, Guangzhou, identified among close contacts of previously confirmed patients.

Among the new cases reported is a 21-year-old waitress working in a restaurant at Shenzhen airport. According to officials, she came in contact with the Delta strain.

Officials have ordered about 110 people of the woman to be quarantined. Under this, at least more than 460 flights have been cancelled. Along with this, most shops and restaurants at the airport have been closed.
