Corona Update 21 June: The cases of covid-19 in India continue to decline. In the last 24 hours, 53,256 new cases of corona have been registered in the country, which is the lowest since March 24. In the same period, 1,422 deaths have been reported. The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare gave this information on Monday.
This is the fourth consecutive day in the last two months that the death toll is below 2,000. This is also the 14th consecutive day that less than one lakh new coronavirus cases have been reported in India. In India on 24 March, 53,476 cases of covid were registered. Corona Update 21 June
Total number of covid-19 cases in the country has now increased to 2,99,35,221. The active cases of corona have now come down to 8 lakhs. The country currently has 7,02,887 active cases and 3,88,135 deaths so far. According to the Union Health Ministry, a total of 78,190 people have been discharged in the last 24 hours, taking the total to 2,88,44,199 people discharged so far.
Health Ministry said that a total of 28,00,36,898 people have been vaccinated in the country so far, of which 30,39,996 people have been vaccinated in the last 24 hours. According to the Indian Council of Medical Research, 39,24,07,782 samples have been tested for COVID-19 till June 20. Of these, 13,88,699 samples were tested on Sunday.
