Islamabad: Death toll in the train accident in Pakistan Ghotki has risen to 65 after some more bodies were recovered today. Official sources gave this information.
Senior Superintendent of Police Umar Tufail said that 10 to 12 bodies were recovered from the engine bogie today and they have been identified as a group that was going with a matrimonial party.
Members of the Edhi centre in Sukkur have expressed apprehension that the injured are still being treated in various hospitals and many of them are in critical condition and due to this the death toll may rise.
Accident took place between Raiti and Daharki railway stations on Monday in which eight bogies of the Millat Express derailed and then the Sir Syed Express passing through it collided with it.
