New Delhi: Second wave of Covid has started to stop in the country. However, the crisis is not over yet because the third wave of Covid is yet to come in India.
At the same time, there are speculations that the third wave of corona can prove to be dangerous for children.
AIIMS Director Dr Randeep Guleria’s statement has come on the speculations being made about the third wave.
Director of AIIMS said that no evidence has come to the fore about whether the covid third wave will affect the children in India.
Dr Randeep Guleria said that no such survey has come out in the world that only children will be affected in the third wave.
Dr Guleria said that it is wrong to say that Corona has an effect only on children.
Because it is being seen for a year that the infection is in every age group, but the fatality is on people above 45 years of age or those who have serious illness.
Dr Guleria said that no scientist has yet said that in covid third wave only children will be affected, not adults.
AIIMS Chief said that many children have also been affected in the second wave of Corona. Symptoms like fever and cough were seen in them but they have also recovered from this virus.
Dr Guleria said that it does not seem that in future there will be a risk of any serious infection in children.
Let us tell you that for two days now, less than one lakh cases of covid are coming in the country, although the death toll due to this pandemic does not seem to be decreasing. In the last 24 hours, 2219 patients have died in the country.
