Moscow: An-26 passenger plane suddenly went missing in the air while taking off in Russia Far East. All contact with the aircraft has been lost.

Citing emergency services, it has been said that every effort is being made to make contact with the aircraft, but no trace of the aircraft is being traced.
An-26 passenger plane was flying from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky to Palana in the Kamchatka Peninsula, but lost contact with the aircraft shortly after take off.
There are 28 people on board, including six crew members and one or two children among the passengers.
Reason behind the sudden An-26 passenger plane missing is yet to be revealed. It is being said that the plane may have crashed in the sea.
A source said that the passenger plane may have crashed in the sea or it is feared that the plane may have fallen under a coal mine near Palana city but, nothing is being said for sure yet.
According to reports, a search operation has been launched with the help of at least two helicopters and rescue personnel are also continuously trying to locate the plane.
Russia, notorious for plane crashes, has improved its air traffic safety record in recent years, but the news of a Russian plane crash has once again rubbed off on these claims.
It is learned that plane crashes have occurred in Russia in the past due to poor aircraft maintenance and lax safety standards, and still Russian aircraft crashes frequently, in which hundreds of passengers have lost their lives.
