Two year old innocent child brutal murdered in Dharchula
Dharchula: In Dharchula tehsil of Pithoragarh district, police have registered case against the accused who murdered two-year-old child and attacked his relatives. The last rites of the two-year-old innocent were performed. The old man injured in the attack was referred to Haldwani on his critical condition. The killer is being described as a lunatic.
On Monday, Gagan Singh, a resident of Chhapra, Nepal, killed a two-year-old innocent of his relative’s family by slitting his throat with a sharp weapon in Tok Sop of Garguwa village, located 24 km from the tehsil headquarters. The mother of the deceased was also attacked, she saved her life by going inside the house and closing the door. Kushal Singh Kunwar, the grandfather of the innocent who came to the rescue, was attacked with a sharp weapon and badly injured. The injured was referred to the district hospital after first aid at CHC Dharchula. Seeing his serious condition in the district hospital, he was referred to Haldwani.
A minor dispute between the brother’s family is being believed. This dispute happened in the past. The sister-in-law of Kushal Singh is the elder sister of the accused. Due to this dispute, an innocent person lost his life. The police have registered case against the accused under IPC sections 302 and 307. The accused was arrested on Monday evening itself. The police have not yet been able to reveal the root cause of the murder in this case.

According to the information, the accused resident of Nepal used to live in his sister’s house in Garguwa. He was brought up here as well. According to the villagers, Gagan Singh was an eccentric person. He used to get angry on small things only. The root cause of the heinous incident committed by him on Monday is not yet clear.
