Seeing viral police torture video, IPS officer said, “How to be proud of this face?”

Lucknow: A disturbing video from Etawah in Uttar Pradesh has gone viral on social media. In this 28-second video, two policemen are brutally beating a mentally deranged boy. Police officers themselves are also questioning this video, which strips human rights.

Many incidents have occurred from across the country during the 40-day long lockdown. Police are strictly following the lockdown rules due to the Corona virus epidemic. At the same time, some such incidents also came to light where the police are seen taking the law into their own hands, deviating from the rules. Such incidents that have ruined human rights have disturbed the people as well as top officials of the police department.

After the video of one such incident went viral on social media, the officers looked quite angry. IG rank IPS officer Amitabh Thakur Has shared a video on their Facebook page.

In this video, two soldiers of the UP Police are beating the mentally deranged youth with cold. A soldier among them is kicking the young man’s chest and trampling it on the ground. The victim is begging for mercy from the policemen.

Warning: This Video May Disturb You

Sharing this video, Amitabh Thakur wrote, “What is this police face? How to be proud of this face? The incident is said to be related to beating of mentally ill youth in Balera police station of Etawah. It has been reported that SSP Etawah has suspended one of the two policemen. If these facts are true, then both policemen should be suspended and FIRs should be taken against them, because it is a very abusive and inhuman abuse of rights. I myself have requested the officers concerned for the most stringent legal action. ”

While sharing this video on Twitter, the incident is being told of Biba Mau village of Etawah. The Etawah police responded via social media and tweeted, “After investigation of the officer Jaswant Nagar in relation to the said case, advance action is in vogue by the Senior Superintendent of Police Etawah suspending the said accused with immediate effect.”
