Counting has been completed on five seats in UP MLC elections. Out of these five seats, BJP has won four seats. While an independent candidate has won one seat. After the election results, CM Yogi Adityanath has congratulated the winning candidates.

On the other hand, Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya said, “Hearty congratulations to the BJP candidates for the victory in teacher and graduate MLC elections 2023, the intelligentsia gave the message of 2024. Thanks to the voters, hearty congratulations to the workers. The anti-Hindu and Ramcharitmanas, arrogant and hooligan SP was wiped out. SP will become the finished plaintiff party.
Let us tell you that BJP has won Bareilly-Moradabad block graduate seat, Gorakhpur-Faizabad graduate seat, Kanpur-Unnao graduate block and Jhansi-Allahabad teacher block seat in MLC elections. On the other hand, independent candidate Raj Bahadur Chandel has won the Kanpur teacher’s block seat. He has defeated the independent candidate by a margin of 1,548 votes.
