Lucknow: Statue of former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Late Kalyan Singh will be installed in the park in front of Lucknow Municipal Corporation located at Lalbagh. Union Defense Minister and Lucknow MP Rajnath Singh will unveil the statue of Kalyan Singh in a while from now. All the people including Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak will be present.
President of Kalyan Singh Sanatan Seva Smriti Nyas, Prashant Bhatia said that Singh had laid the foundation of good governance in Uttar Pradesh. While being the Chief Minister, he had given the model of good governance to the whole country. He was a fierce warrior of Hindutva. His contribution to the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi movement can never be forgotten. A statue is being erected in front of the Municipal Corporation in his memory.
