Lucknow Ghantaghar Protest: 30 days of struggle, people reached from all over the country

Lucknow: The protest against CAA and NRC has reached 30 days at Ghantaghar (Clock Tower) located in Chowk of ​​the capital Lucknow. On this occasion, women protesters gave the slogan, “30 days of women’s struggle, let’s go with protest”. On this call, a large number of people from all over the country reached to protest site in support of women protesters.

On the completion of 30 days of women’s struggle, several speakers addressed, including Vipul Kumar, Harjit Singh, Kashif Younus, Malik Mohatshim, Ashukant Sinha, Archana Singh, Saeed Azharruddin, Asif, Mahesh Chandra etc.

The speakers said that, citizenship amendment law is anti-constitutional. Under the Constitution, no law can determine our citizenship on basis of religion. If it does, then that law is anti-constitutional. We will boycott NPR altogether.

Speakers said that to save our constitution, we will take the path from “Jail Bharo” (Self Arrest) to non-cooperation movement and force the government to withdraw this unconstitutional law. Lucknow Ghantaghar protest gives courage to the women too to do so.

He said that the call of “30 days of women’s struggle, come with protest”, told to the BJP government that unannounced Emergency and repressive policies are outright rejected.

Women from over the country and state spoke fiercely against the CAA and NRC. Women from several districts of state took a pledge on place that, they will build their village, town, city as Ghantaghar and Shaheen Bagh.
