Lucknow: Along with preparations for Zila Panchayat Adhyaksh Chunav, (District Panchayat president elections) Samajwadi Party is constantly accusing the ruling party of misusing its power.
Samajwadi Party chief and former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has accused the BJP government of misusing power in the district panchayat elections.

Akhilesh said that the ruling party is using DM and SP of the district as its agents to win maximum seats.
District Panchayat members are being threatened through the two higher officers of the district. At the same time, SP candidates are also being harassed illegally.

In the midst of all these allegations, SP Chief Akhilesh Yadav, while giving a message to the Yogi government of BJP, said that in the last BDC and Panchayat elections, the people has rejected ‘them” (BJP).
Akhilesh said that, BJP is seeing its defeat, that’s why it has come openly on misuse of power. Despite this, victory in upcoming district panchayat president and assembly elections 2022 will be for the “Samajwadi”.

It is worth noting that SP chief Akhilesh Yadav is holding frequent meetings with the workers regarding the Zila Panchayat Adhyaksh Chunav to be held in 3rd July and the 2022 UP assembly elections.
On Wednesday, meeting of district presidents was called at Samajwadi Party office in Lucknow. At the same time, today Akhilesh Yadav has held a meeting with all the presidents and block heads of Jaunpur district.
