Patna: The ruckus between the constituent parties of the ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in Bihar over the demand for special status to Bihar does not seem to be stopping.
BJP’s main constituent Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state president and MP Dr. Sanjay Jaiswal has targeted the Bihar government through a Facebook post.
Presenting the figures of the government of his constituent Janata Dal United (JDU), former national president Nitish Kumar, he said that the amount that Bihar gets from the Center Govt. is not spent by the state government.
He made a long post outrightly rejecting the demand for a special state for Bihar.
Responding to Dr. Jaiswal’s allegations on the Nitish government, now JDU’s state spokesperson Abhishek Jha has retaliated through social media.
Describing the BJP state president as knowledgeable, he said that we hope that some simple things must be understood.
He said that, “You read the Economic Survey properly. It is the effort of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar that despite the worldwide corona disaster, the per capita income of Bihar has increased by about Rs 1221 annually.”
In Bihar, the Nal Jal Yojana was implemented from the year 2016 and the central government started it in the year 2019.
The Bihar government has got 90 percent of the work done at its own expense, so there is no justification for taking about Rs 6000 crore from the central government on this item.
The work of electricity to every household started in the year 2015 in Bihar and was completed by the year 2018. The Central Government started this in the year 2017.
