Nainital HC rejects Congress plea on EVM hack

Uttarakhand: Nainital High Court has rejected 5 petitions filed by Congress leaders. They were accused of rigging EVMs during the 2017 state assembly elections.

On October 14, Justice Lokpal Singh reserved the judgment after hearing all the petitions related to the case. He rejected them on Tuesday.

In the last assembly elections, defeated Congress (Congress) candidates Navprabhat, Vikram Singh Negi, Rajkumar, Ambareesh Kumar and Godavari Thapli challenged the election results alleging rigging in EVMs.
