New Delhi: Ahead of next year 2022 assembly elections in Punjab, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday promised free electricity in that state if his Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) wins the election.

A day before his Chandigarh visit, the AAP leader also claimed that the women in Punjab were very angry with the inflation.
Kejriwal tweeted, “In Delhi we provide 200 units of free electricity to every family. Women are very happy. Women of Punjab are also very angry with inflation. AAP government will give free electricity in Punjab also. See you tomorrow in Chandigarh.”

Assembly elections in Punjab are proposed in February or March next year. Before this, all the parties in the state want to win in the political competition of electricity and water.
Let us inform that earlier, the Captain Amarinder Government of Punjab has also announced to give free electricity up to 200 units to the people, while getting rid of expensive electricity.
