CBI-ED raids in Bihar, RJD MPs and MLAs in grip

Patan: New government of Nitish Kumar and Tejashwi Yadav has to prove trust in the Bihar assembly today, but before that there was a stir in the political corridor. The CBI started raids early in the morning on the premises of the ruling RJD’s MLC co-treasurer and Biscoman chairman Sunil Singh.

But even bigger news is ahead and that is that RJD’s Rajya Sabha MP Ashfaq Karim is also seen coming under the clutches of CBI. Because along with Sunil Singh, the CBI has also raided the places of Ashfaq Karim in Patna.

After this big raid of CBI, there has been a stir in the political corridor of Bihar. Here RJD MLC and Biscoman chairman Sunil Singh have said that they are being implicated. Sunil Singh told the media that ‘Why has today been chosen for the raid? I am being deliberately harassed and all this is happening at the behest of the central government.

Raid on whereabouts of RJD MP Ashfaq Karim

At the same time, the CBI raided the premises of RJD’s Rajya Sabha MP Ashfaq Karim in the early hours of Wednesday. During this raid, the CBI team raided the places of Sunil Singh and Ashfaq Karim in Patna. Sources say that many teams of CBI are engaged in this raid and some teams have also been kept in backup. At the same time, the ED team is also conducting raids.

ED raid at RJD MP’s house in Madhubani

Not only this, the ED tightened the noose on another strong leader of RJD on Wednesday itself. The ED raided the residence of Lalu Yadav’s party’s Rajya Sabha MP Dr Fayaz Ahmed early in the morning. The raid was conducted at his Madhubani residence. During this, along with the officers of CRPF, a team of jawans was also present there to help the ED.
