Lathicharge on women in BJP government crosses the limits of cruelty: Akhilesh Yadav

Lucknow. Samajwadi Party National President and former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav said that BJP government continued cruelty on protesters who sit-in against CAA and NRC to save Constitution. Lathicharge on women by UP police in Aligarh is reprehensible. BJP government has thus crossed all limits of cruelty.

He said, women are on non-violent and peaceful strike. The BJP government has been continuously misbehaving with those who sit against CAA, NRC and NPR. This cannot be allowed in a democracy at all.

The SP chief told to News Readers that, disagreement is allowed in the democratic system and it is constitutional right of the citizens. Everywhere in the country or in the state, law and order has come to a standstill in this so-called double engine government under BJP rule. The ruling people do not care about the local population at all. No one sensitive person can even think of misbehaving with innocent children who sit in cold night with their mother. This conduct of BJP government is inhuman.

Akhilesh Yadav said that the victims who visited him have also complained about behavior of police and administration. The farmers do not have their rights, health services are completely ruined. BJP is intent on completely destroying Uttar Pradesh. The administration has been made a follower of power. Samajwadi Party is committed to saving democracy and the Constitution.

Today, more than a dozen lawyers of Kanpur met Akhilesh Yadav under the leadership of Shyam ji Shrivastava, president of Kanpur Bar Association. Advocates said that many schemes for the facilities of advocates were introduced in Samajwadi Government. The arrangement of chambers etc. is notable for lawyers. He said that, they will work with full strenght to re-elect Samajwadi Party government in 2022.
