At least 15 died, 30 injured in bus accident in MP’s Khargone; President, PM express grief over loss of lives in bus mishap

In Madhya Pradesh, at least 15 people died and about 30 were injured in a bus accident in Khargone district today. The state government has announced a compensation of four lakh rupees each to the next of kin of the deceased and 50,000 rupees each to the injured.

She expressed her deepest condolences to the families who lost their loved ones in the mishap, and wished for speedy recovery of the injured.

An ex-gratia of two lakh rupees from Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund would be given to the next of kin of each deceased. The injured would be given 50 thousand rupees.
