Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UKSSSC) will blacklist the candidates accused of paper leak from the examinations. These candidates will also be banned from appearing in the examinations of the Commission. So far STF has identified about 400 such suspicious candidates in three recruitments.
Commission had conducted the graduate level recruitment examination on December 4 and 5, 2021. Its results came on April 7. In this, 2,16,532 applied and 1,46,370 took the exam. After the paper of this recruitment was leaked, STF has so far recorded the magisterial statement of about 135 suspects.
Candidates in contact with them are being investigated. At the same time, the Forest Inspector recruitment examination was conducted by the Commission from 16 to 21 July 2021, in which 51,961 candidates out of 83,776 appeared. In this recruitment also, STF has so far identified 129 suspicious candidates.
All three recruitments canceled, will be held again in March
At the same time, the examination of Secretariat Guard was held on 26 September 2021, in which 25,805 candidates out of 36,533 appeared. About 150 suspects have also been identified in this. In all, the STF has so far identified around 400 suspects. The investigation is on, the number of suspects may increase. All the three recruitments have been cancelled, which will happen again in March.
On the other hand, GS Mertolia, chairman of the Subordinate Services Selection Commission, said that on the basis of the report received from the STF, the commission will blacklist all the students accused of cheating. As per rules, they may be debarred from appearing in future examinations for a few years.
Campaign to identify every accused of paper leak
According to sources, the STF is conducting a massive campaign to identify the suspects of the three paper leak exams. It is expected that in the next one month, the STF will send the report of the identity of the accused of the paper leak to the commission.
