Uttarakhand: Group-C 463 posts withdrawn by Rec Dept before recruitment

There is sad news for the unemployed amid the Group-C recruitment drive being run by the government. The departments have withdrawn the requisition of the Uttarakhand Public Service Commission for the recruitment which was to be done around January 15. The departments argue that their service rules are being amended.

In fact, following the instructions of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, the State Public Service Commission is running a campaign by issuing a special calendar for Group-C recruitments. Under this, the Commission has conducted the Police Constable Recruitment Examination. Recruitment has been done for the posts of Patwari-Lekhpal Recruitment, Forest Guard Recruitment, Assistant Accountant and Auditor, Prison Guard and Junior Assistant.

According to the calendar of the Commission, in the second week of January, the advertisement for the recruitment of 463 posts of Fodder Assistant, Food Processing Branch, Branch Class-2, Assistant Agriculture Officer Class-3 was to be issued in the Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Horticulture Department. Just before this, the Horticulture and other departments have withdrawn their requisitions. Therefore, this recruitment will not happen at the moment. The departments have argued behind recalling the requisition that their service rules are being amended. Requisitions will be sent to the commission again only after amendment.

Next Recruitment of Sub Inspector of Police
Now the State Public Service Commission is preparing to recruit 221 posts of Sub Inspector Police, Fire Officer II. According to the commission, its advertisement will be issued soon. There will be a physical efficiency test before recruitment to these posts. After this there will be a written test for the selected candidates.

State Public Service Commission Secretary Girdhari Singh Rawat said that the Horticulture Department has withdrawn the requisition, asking for amendment in the service rules. Now preparations are being made for the next recruitment according to the calendar.
