Corona Update 22 July: In the last 24 hours, a record of more than 28 thousand people of the corona have defeated the virus, with the number of people recovering from the corona infection epidemic for the second consecutive day in the country. Due to which the number of cured people has crossed 7.53 lakh. For the first time in the country, 28,472 people a day are healthy.
During the same period 37,724 new cases of infection have been reported, taking the number of infected to about 11.93 lakhs.
According to data released on Wednesday by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, 37,724 cases of corona infection were confirmed in the country in the last 24 hours, increasing the number of infected to 11,92,915 while the number of dead increased by 648 to 28,732.
During the same period, 28,472 patients have become healthy, so far, 7,53,050 people have been relieved of corona. There are 4,11,133 active cases of corona infection in the country at present.
Looking at the situation during the last 24 hours in various states, 8,336 new cases of infection were reported in the most affected Maharashtra and 246 people died.
Here the number of infected is now 3,27,031 and the number of dead is 12,276, while 1,82,217 people have become infection free.
In Tamil Nadu, which is second in terms of infection, 4965 new cases were reported and 75 people died, taking the number of infected to 1,80,643 and the number of dead to 2,626. 1,26,670 people have been discharged from hospitals in the state.
