Patiala House Court has sent gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, the main accused in the Sidhu Musewala murder case, to NIA custody for 10 days. The anti-terror agency told the court that Bishnoi needed to be interrogated in the Sidhu Moosewala murder case. NIA said material is coming from Pakistan.

The anti-terror agency told the court that Bishnoi needed to be interrogated in the Sidhu Musewala murder case. NIA said ‘Material is coming from Pakistan. People like Moosewala are just targets. A big conspiracy is being investigated.
At present Bishnoi is lodged in Bathinda Jail
A senior Punjab Police officer said, NIA took Lawrence Bishnoi into custody in a case registered against him. He is currently lodged in Bathinda jail in connection with some other cases against him in the state. In June this year, the Punjab Police brought Bishnoi from Delhi to Punjab for questioning in the singer Sidhu Musewala murder case.
Lawrence Bishnoi was later taken into custody by the state police in several other cases registered against him in Punjab. The gangster and some of his accomplices were wanted in several criminal cases including murder, attempt to murder and extortion. Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, popularly known as Sidhu Musewala, was shot dead on May 29 in Punjab’s Mansa district.
Sidhu Moosewala was killed when he was traveling in a jeep along with his friend and cousin in Jawahar’s village in Mansa. Six assailants blocked his vehicle and opened fire on him. Canada’s Goldie Brar, who is a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, claimed that he was behind the murder.
