New Delhi: Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will participate as the chief guest in the Armed Forces Flag Day ‘CSR’ convention organized by the Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare, Ministry of Defense here on Tuesday.
In this programme, the efforts being made by the Ex-Servicemen Welfare Department in the direction of rehabilitation and welfare of ex-servicemen, Veer Naris and their dependent families will be highlighted.
On this occasion, the Defense Minister will also launch a new website of the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund. This new website will be interactive and useful for the users and on-line contribution will be encouraged. On the occasion, Rajnath Singh will also release this year’s campaign song for Armed Forces Flag Day and will also honor key contributors to the fund.
Minister of State for Defense Ajay Bhatt, Chief of Defense Staff General Anil Chauhan, Defense Secretary Giridhar Armane and other senior officials of the Defense Ministry will also be present at the conference. Members of Corporate Social Responsibility, Ex-servicemen and members of Defense Services will also participate in the conference.
