On Indian Air Force Day 2022, the Indian Airforce chief will unveil new digital pattern of ‘Combat Uniform’. Though we already have combat uniform, the new pattern has been created from digital design. The new uniform will have different fabric and design.
Its colors will be slightly different, more suited to the working environment in the Air Force. The new uniform will be somewhat similar to the digital pattern of the combat uniform of the Indian Army. It has been designed by the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT).

At the same time, this time the program has been kept in two parts, that is, the parade will be held in the morning and the flypast will be on the banks of Sukhna Lake in the evening. 83 fighters, transport aircraft and helicopters will participate in the aerial demonstration. Indigenous Light Combat Helicopter ‘Prachanda’ will also make its first public display of its might.

Indian Aairforce strength
The Indian Air Force currently has 31 fighter jet squadrons. There are roughly 18 fighter aircraft in each squadron. It also includes two squadrons of French Rafale and indigenous LCA ‘Tejas’. The Indian Air Force currently employs more than 1,400 aircraft and approximately 170,000 personnel.
