New Delhi: In the last 24 hours in India 235532 new corona cases were reported and 871 people died. This information was shared by the Union Health Ministry on Saturday. In the last one day, 871 people have died, taking the number of deaths to 493198.
There are a total of 2004333 active cases in the country. The positivity rate is 4.91 percent. With the recovery of 335939 patients in the last 24 hours, the number of people recovering has increased to 38360710.
The recovery rate in India is 93.89 percent. A total of 1759434 corona tests were conducted across the country, taking the total number of tests to 72.57 crore.
More than 56 lakh vaccine doses were given to people in the country in the last 24 hours. With this, India’s corona vaccination coverage has reached 165.04 crore till Saturday morning.
Whereas more than 12 crore doses are currently available with the states and union territories.
