A policeman posted at Kotwali Roorkee had a training in Haridwar. For which his RTPCR investigation was done on 29 December.
Dr. Sanjay Kansal, Chief Medical Superintendent of Civil Hospital Roorkee said that the RTPCR test of the policeman has come positive. The policeman was undergoing training in Haridwar.
Covid test will also be done for other policemen
The policeman has been asked to isolate. Along with this, other policemen who come in contact with the policeman will also be tested for Covid. The policeman has no travel history. This is the first case of corona in the district.
To get this variant of Corona tested, the sample will be sent to Delhi for genetic sequence. So that it can be known which variant of Corona it is. CMS informed that samples of 29 persons were taken on 29 December. In which only one positive has come.
