London: As soon as the Imran government fell in Pakistan, thousands of supporters of former Pak PM Nawaz Sharif gathered outside his residence in London and started raising slogans in favor of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz.
The effect of the ongoing political earthquake in Pakistan is also being seen in London. After losing the no-confidence motion, Imran Khan was out of power, whose happiness was seen in London.
During this, there was a big clash between the supporters of Imran’s party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz in London. Supporters of the two parties clashed outside the Avenfield Flats, the residence of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, with abuses and sloganeering against the opposition leadership.
Angry PTI activists stage a sit-in at Nawaz Sharif’s residence in London. During the demonstrations, PTI workers holding the flag of Pakistan raised slogans against the removal of the PM.
Meanwhile, supporters of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz also reached Avenfield flats to show solidarity with party supremo Nawaz Sharif, where they started clashing with PTI workers. Slogans and protests continued for a long time between the two groups.
