Kabul: Armed rebels blew up a bridge in eastern Afghanistan, Paktika province, cutting off contact with the provincial capital, Sheran, with several other districts. A government spokesperson gave this information.

“The bridge was built a few years ago with millions of dollars and the city of Sheran was connected to the 11 districts from the Pakistan side as of today. Due to the collapse of the bridge, people are facing big problems.
He also blamed the Taliban group for destroying the main bridge and said terrorists were behind the “crime of creating problems” for the people.
The armed group has been accused of bulldozing the streets, targeting electric poles and destroying bridges, but has not yet claimed responsibility for the blast.
