Damascus, Syria: Five soldiers have been killed in an Israeli attack on the Syrian capital Damascus international airport and some other areas. Syrian state media gave this information on Saturday.

Syria’s state-run news agency ‘SANA’ said that the attack took place at around 12:45 pm. Property was also damaged in this attack, the details of which have not been given.

Israel has not directly claimed responsibility for these attacks, but these attacks have come at a time when some sort of conflict is going on between Israel and Iran.

In addition to Damascus airport, the international airport in Aleppo was targeted. There are fears that these airports could be used to supply weapons to support President Bashar al-Assad in Syria and the Lebanese terrorist group Hezbollah.

There are frequent clashes between the two countries.

There is an old dispute between the two. There have been military conflicts between the two over the occupation of the Golan Heights or the Golan Hills. This hill was once occupied by Syria, but after the war with Arab countries in 1967, Israel acquired it.

Israel wants to keep the Golan Hills with itself because the Syrian capital Damascus is only 60 kilometers away from here. Damascus can be easily seen from the high hills of the Golan.
