Indian Science Forum (ISF), a group dedicated to promoting science under the Indian Social Club Oman, is organizing the annual Science Fiesta on May 19 and 20 at the Al Hail Campus of the National University of Science and Technology.
As part of the festival, ISF has already hosted a major science quiz and conducted Sastra Pratibha Contest, aimed at fostering students’ interest in pure science, an essay competition on science was also held.
These events will culminate with the annual Science Fiesta. Over 20 Indian schools will participate in various competitions, including debates, symposiums, on-the-spot science projects, exhibitions, and photography.
The distinguished Indian scientist Mylswamy Annadurai, renowned as the Moon Man of India, will grace the fiesta with his presence, according to the organizers.
Annadurai previously served as the director of the Indian Space Research Organization Satellite Centre (ISAC) in Bengaluru, India.
The event will be attended by H.E. Amit Narang, India’s Ambassador to Oman, and Dr. Ali Saud Bimani, Vice Chancellor of the National University of Science and Technology, as special guests.
The Science Fiesta provides an excellent platform for students to showcase their knowledge and passion for science, and the Indian Science Forum takes pride in supporting their endeavors.
