Mexico City: An earthquake of magnitude 6.8 were felt in the capital of Mexico. Tremors of earthquake were felt at 1 pm on Wednesday. Two people were killed in 7.6-magnitude earthquake that struck western and central Mexico three days ago.

According to the US Geological Survey, the epicenter of the quake was south-southwest near the Pacific coast in western Michoacan, at a depth of about 24.1 km. Michoacan’s local government said the tremors were felt across the state. There was no immediate information about any casualties.
There is no news of loss of life – President of Mexico
Mexico’s President Andrés Manuel López Obrador tweeted that it was the aftermath of Monday’s earthquake, which was also felt in the states of Colima, Jalisco and Guerrero. The President said there was no immediate report of any loss of life or property. Mexico City Mayor Claudia Sheinbaum tweeted that there were no immediate reports of damage in the capital.
