The continuous rain for the last four days is causing havoc for the people. Eight people’s houses have collapsed in the district, rendering about 41 people living in these houses homeless.
Everyone has left home and taken shelter in others’ homes. At the same time, the district administration is providing unhelpful help to the affected.
Revenue Police is engaged in collecting the stock of the damage. However, a major incident has been avoided. People ran away when the house broke down, which saved their lives.
District Disaster Officer Shikha Suyal said that the Revenue Department is assessing the damage caused to the affected.
District administration will provide them with untiring help. At the same time, he told that there is an alert of the Meteorological Department till October 12.
The closed roads are being opened by the district administration. DM has also given instructions to smooth the power supply.
