Rishikesh: Everyone is shocked by the news of Ankita Bhandari murder case in Uttarakhand. Uttarakhand SDRF has recovered Ankita’s dead body from Chilla Canal in Rishikesh on Saturday morning. It is believed that now many secrets can be revealed from the postmortem of dead body and missing report.
SDRF spokesperson has confirmed that Ankita Bhandari’s body has been recovered from Chilla Canal. Relatives have also identified the body. The 19-year-old receptionist had gone missing seven days ago. Three accused including Pulkit Arya, owner of the resort where Ankita used to work, have been arrested.

After receiving Ankita’s body, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the body of daughter Ankita was recovered this morning. My heart is deeply pained by this heart breaking incident. In order to get harshest punishment to culprits, SIT under leadership of Deputy Inspector General of Police P. Renuka Devi has also been ordered for speedy investigation into this serious matter. Action has also been taken by bulldozers on illegally built resort of accused of Ankita Bhandari late last night. He further said that it is our resolve that culprits of this heinous crime will not be spared.
