As of now, India have scored 98 for two wickets in their second innings chasing a target of 407 by the end of the day.
India are still 309 runs away from securing 407 runs for Team Australia. Cheteshwar Pujara is playing 9 and captain Ajinkya Rahane scoring 4 runs till the end of the day’s play.
Australia had scored 338 runs in their first innings. India were able to score 244 runs in their first innings. Australia had a lead of 94 runs in the second innings.
The hosts gave India a strong target by declaring the second innings for 312 runs at the loss of six wickets.

Gill scored 31 runs off 64 balls. Rohit scored 52 runs in 98 balls with the help of five fours and a six.
These two players shared a 71-run partnership for the first wicket. Josh Hazlewood and Pat Cummins took one wicket each for Australia.
