Tokyo. Indian men’s doubles team MR Arjun and Dhruv Kapila advanced to the pre-quarterfinals of the BWF World Championship but were knocked out in the women’s section by Ashwini Ponnappa and N Sikki Reddy.
The unseeded pair of Arjun and Kapila beat Denmark’s eighth seeded Kim Astroup and Anders Skarup Rasmussen by 21. 17, 21 . beat 16.
